The Planning Commission is an advisory board established in accordance with the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code that is comprised of five Borough residents. The main purpose of the Planning Commission to oversee the development of the Borough’s Comprehensive Plan. The current Comprehensive Plan was adopted in December 2025. The Planning Commission also reviews applications and project plans, to ensure conformance with Borough zoning, subdivision and land development ordinances.

The Planning Commission meets on the first Tuesday of each month in Council Chambers of the Municipal Building at 5:00pm.

The Commission members are appointed by Council to serve four-year terms.
